Our team
Robert (Bob) J. Tunstead
Founder and President
Mr. Tunstead is the Founder and President of Signature Business Solutions Inc. for the past 17 years. He is responsible for managing the company, formulating and executing long term strategies as well as building key relationships.
Mr. Tunstead is Signature’s primary decision maker, setting the tone for the companys' values, ethics and culture. He personifies Signature’s commitment to delivering the highest quality of service and leading edge products to its clients.
Over the past 30 years Mr. Tunstead has applied a consistant formula for success. After a professional hockey career in North America and Europe he has built and led multi million dollar public and private businesses in a variety of sectors. From Banking to Insurance, from Education to Automotive, he has taken his vision and passion to create wildly successful businesses. He built upon these successes and went to work developing leaders and executives in all areas of commerce.
He has given generously for over 25 years to coaching minor hockey at the elite level as well as providing additional time to less fortunate players with a desire to have the opportunity to participate and enjoy the game. Dozens of players that were coached by Mr. Tunstead went on to play at the Junior and Pro level. Coaching for several years was part of his value system of giving back and a strong conviction that he could help others succeed and learn the valuable life lessons that the sport teaches.
Mr. Tunstead has been involved in several educational programs that provided an affordable opportunity for learning and developing leadership qualities within his community. Several people have experienced strong growth and have prospered with the assistance of the programs.
Over the years Mr. Tunstead has been involved in several charities and continues to be active in domestic and foreign programs.
He lives with his wife Jeannette in Kelowna with their dog and horses.
Rob Strathearn
Vice President
Office location – Vancouver, British Columbia
Rob brings 25 years of diverse experience in marketing, sales and operations to Signature Business Solutions. Since joining Signature in 1995, Rob has delivered significant results through developing numerous manufacturers and private label extended warranty programs. His Economics degree from Wilfrid Laurier University has him well positioned to work with insurers and actuaries to structure program details from conception to the marketplace. Cultivating long-term relationships and delivering superior products, services and results are paramount to his success. On a personal note, Rob was born in Toronto and enjoys spending time with his wife and teenage children, traveling and playing hockey.
Jeannette van Holland
Director of Finance
Ms. van Holland has headed Signature Business Solutions accounting and regulatory department for the past 12 years. She is a graduate of the University of Alberta. Ms. Van Holland has had experience in numerous companies in the retail sector where she served as Owner/GM.
Ms. van Holland has been a valuable addition to the Signature team and works tirelessly to ensure the office is operating very efficiently and there is excellent synergy between all our team members and associates.
She enjoys the outdoors, horseback riding and travelling.
